I found
this article on the New York Times, while searching for news about hospice. Written by a man whose wife has been placed in hospice care, the author succinctly describes his visits with his wife as well as the looming prospect of death for both of them. What struck me most about the article was the joy the author took from his wife's lucid moments (or as he phrases it in the title "slight shadows of life") despite the reality that her death, as well as his, may be imminent.
